Mike Mesnier is a Principal Engineer in Intel Labs. He’s led a variety of storage projects in his 25 years at Intel, including Internet SCSI (iSCSI), Object-based Storage Devices (OSD), Differentiated Storage Services (storage QoS), Storage Analytics (ML for storage), and now the Astoria project (computational storage). Mike received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
