He worked at Adaptec during the heyday’s of the ISA SCSI Controllers, helped establish confusing commands for Windows when he worked for Microsoft, and spoke at many events like this over the years. It’s only natural that he would have gathered some intrinsic knowledge about storage, just by paying attention one-half of the time. He’s been published, but that was years ago so reading through his attempts to explain Plug-and-Play might just lead you into the medical field. He currently runs the Redmond Storage Center for Western Digital in Redmond, WA, where he employs the brightest engineers, for his own entertainment.
