Jaspal Kohli

Jaspal leads the architecture and development of storage software at Fungible. Jaspal joined Fungible in 2016 with more than 30 years of experience in storage including system software development and architecture. Most recently, he was a Principal Engineer in Amazon working on EC2 Storage and Platforms. Prior to that, Jaspal co-founded Ankeena Networks where he was the Chief Architect for developing a high performance Caching Proxy with hierarchical storage. After Juniper acquired Ankeena, Jaspal worked in its CTO office. Jaspal was a founding member of the engineering team at Mirapoint where he developed an Email Storage and Security Appliance with a journaling Filesystem and integrated RAID platform. Jaspal has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi. He holds over 20 patents in various areas of systems software and architecture.
